At the end of the season the captain of the the FC “Gazprom-UGRA” Aleksandr Kopeykin left the team.

The FC “Gazprom-UGRA” once again thanks Aleksandr and his family for these 12 years, which he had devoted to the team, for his work and a huge contribution for the benefit of our club. We wish him great success in his future career.

Aleksandr Kopeykin moved to “Gazprom-UGRA” (then the team was called TTG) in the summer of 2005. And already in the beginning of 2006, six months after the beginning of his career in the club, Aleksandr became the captain of the team and was to them until the end of the season 2016/17. Note that at that time he was the youngest player of the TTG.
In total, Aleksandr spent 354 matches in the regular season (without taking into account the matches of the Russian Cup) and scored 130 goals!
