Eighth world futsal championship will be held in Colombia this autumn.

Regional qualifications helped to reveal all participants for the upcoming major futsal tournament. The following national teams have conquered their highly desired ticket to Colombia:

Europe: Azerbaijan, Italy, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Spain, Russia, Portugal (by qualification)
Africa: Egypt, Morocco, Mozambique (qualified on the basis of the African Nations Cup 2016 in South Africa)
Asia: Australia, Iran, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Thailand (qualified on the basis of the  Asian Championship 2016 in Uzbekistan)
North America: Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Cuba (CONCACAF Cup in Costa Rica)
South America: Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay (on the basis of qualifications among CONMEBOL countries) and Colombia (hosts of the tournament)
South Pacific: Solomon Islands (on the basis of the Oceania Cup)

The tournament will be held from September 10^th to October 1^st of 2016 in three cities in Colombia: Santiago de Cali (Arena Coliseo El Pueblo, capacity of 18,000), Bucaramanga (Arena Coliseo Bicentenario, capacity of 8,000) and Medellin (Arena Coliseo Ivan De Bedout, capacity of 6,000).

The tournament draw will be held on May 19^th in the city of Medellin.
