November 16th in the 8th round “Gazprom-UGRA” is playing against “Tyumen”, the last match before the Elite round of the UEFA Cup.

Last season the teams met 9 times, in the Russian championship and the Russian Cup, and 8 times we took the victory. Today our head coach shares his views on the upcoming test match of his team.

– Kaka, your team, after played a game in Yugorsk, immediately goes to Tyumen. Does it have any impact on the team state?
– Of course, to some extent, it is a moral burden for the players who are away from their families. But on the other hand, we don’t spend so much time this way; the guys realize all the difficulties of their profession and focus on the fulfillment of all the the coaching staff tasks.

– “Gazprom-UGRA” emerged from the bowels of the standings and fixed on the second line. Can we say that a certain moral burden fell from your shoulders?
– If we look only at the standings, then everything looks really bright. But inside it is not. We understand that there is a regular part of the championship, we just straighten our positions and the most crucial moments are still ahead. However, in general, of course, it is more comfortable to see our team in the upper part of the standings.

– Two victories over “Dynamo” is still the best matches of the season? Something really changed?
– I can say that we finally started the season. Our players have started to play concentrated, follow our game plan, and do their best. We really played well against “Dynamo”, but it was not the ceiling of what our players are capable of. There is no Euphoria. We won the important confrontation, but not the most important of the season.

– It turns out that our rival of the 8th round, “Tyumen”, is also going up the standings.
– We have analyzed their games. They are as before very strong, fast and powerful. It is definitely going to be a derby. It is always a special atmosphere. If before our teams often demonstrated many out of sports things like clashes, disputes, removals, but now both team are only trying to show good futsal.
