The national teams of Russia and Iran in the face-to-face confrontation on September 25 identified the winner of the Caspian Cup. Our team defeated 12-time Asian champions with a score of 9-3 and won the trophy.

The Persians began the second half with five field goals – the rally did not work, and Antoshkin and Niyazov from different positions successfully hit the empty net. At the 29th minute after the corner, Asadov scored, and at the 35th classy lateral pass from the depths of Antoshkin, Milovanov took advantage.

Oruji and Azimi reduced the gap, but the last goal was on the account of our team. A series of bounces helped push the ball into the net to Ivan Milovanov.

The result is 9-3, the Russian team won the “Caspian Cup” and took revenge from Iran for the defeat in a similar match of the “Four Nations Tournament” in December 2017.
