The FC “Gazprom-UGRA” held a charity event called “Do good” in our home city of Yugorsk.

The event started with a kids futsal tournament, in which 9 teams from Yugorsk and the nearest city took part. Coaches of the teams were our players, which the day before took a landslide victory in the 7th round Russia championship.

At the end of the tournament the UEFA Cup holders hold an open training the fans. It was a really special day for both the spectators and the children.

Vladislav Shayakhmetov, player of the FC player “Gazprom-UGRA”:
– When I look at these children I remember myself when I was a kid, when I started playing futsal. Unfortunately, there were no events like that in my childhood, and it is certainly nice that now we do.

In between of the games the club held a charity auction for the spectators selling nesting dolls depicting players and coaches of the FC “Gazprom-UGRA”, each doll is unique and is made in a single copy. In addition the spectators could buy photographs of their favorite players with their autographs.

More than 500 people took part in the event and more than 600,000 rubles were raised. All the money will used to help children in need.

Andrey Godlevskiy, Deputy General Director for Personnel Management of the LLC “Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk”:
– All the funds will be sent for children in need, we are also planning to help hospitals of the the city of Yugorsk, the districts of Sovietskiy and Berezovskiy.
