Valery Petrovich Linnikov, Executive Director of the FC Gazprom-UGRA, congratulated the youth team of Russia for the silver awards of the Olympic Games:

– On behalf of the management, coaches, staff, players of the Gazprom-UGRA club and on my own behalf, I congratulate the Russian junior futsal team and the entire coaching staff for the silver medals of the Youth Olympic Games 2018.

This is a very significant victory, a new page in the history of not only Russian, but also world of futsal. The team demonstrated strong character, high commitment and tactical training – all that is inherent in Russian futsal.

National futsal teams regularly win medals of various denominations in international tournaments, confirming the high level of development of Russian futsal. The silver of the Youth Olympic Games is a testament to the effectiveness of work and high prospects in the development of youth futsal in the country.

Separately, I would like to congratulate the representative of our club in the national team – Igor Chernyavsky on a great achievement in his sports life! I wish he kept working hard and grow into a high-class futsal player.
