The manager of the youth FC “Gazprom-UGRA”, Vladimir Kolesnikov, shared his happy emotions of the beforehand victory of his team in the youth championship of “Moscow and Moscow region” area.

— Vladimir Anatolievich, congratulations with the beforehand registration of the champion title! Do you follow the game of your rivals today?

— Thank you very much, I’m feeling really happy right now, since we see that all our hard work has not been in vain. We didn’t really follow the game of the rivals, we had our training session. It was after it ended when we got to know that “Dynamo-d” won, so we became champions without playing the match. But we didn’t expect such an outcome and prepared for the fight. We have our own game tomorrow against “Dina-d”, which we ourselves have to win and finally become the champions. Everything was supposed to be solved by ourselves tomorrow, but today “Dynamo” turned out to help us.

— In the final phase of the championship, perhaps the defining moment was the game with the “Communists” in the last round?

— Yes, sure. A week ago, this meeting was called “the hidden final”. And so it happened. I am very glad that we were able to not only achieve the desired result, but at the same time show a high-quality game.

— Did you celebrate the victory with the guys now after the training?

— No way, all the celebrations will happen later (laughs). We have two more rounds, we need to go through them safely and without injuries. What’s more, the season does not end up with the championship, we still have the Cup.

— Do you have any tasks for this tournament?

— Sure, being the champion we’d like to win the Cup. The only team who could ever do this was the youth “Norilskiy Nickel” in the 2010/11 season, If I’m not mistaken. Now we are two-time winners of the championship, why not to become the winner of the Cup in the same year?
