Evgeniy Kuksevich, head coach of the FC “Sibiryak”:
– We knew what opponent we were to face, that’s why it was vitally important to concentrate. No wonder we have been preparing for so long, everybody misses futsal and today few people care about how we prepare as long as we win at home. We have completed the task. I can only thank my players for such a concentration, we always have to play like this.

Kaka, head coach of the FC “Gazprom-UGRA”:
– First of all I want to congratulate my colleague Sergey Skorovich, the entire coaching staff, management, players and fans of the Russian team on silver at the World Championships! I hope it will spur the development of futsal and soon our sport will become Olympic. As for today’s game, we expected that the game would be difficult for us. The opposing team turned out to be more ready for this match, they were more focused. The first half the hosts outplayed us completely. I can say I made some mistakes.
In the second half we started more organized, improved, put pressure on the opponent, quickly recovered balls. We will correct errors and try to do better tomorrow.
