From the first minutes of the meeting, the Communists rushed to the attack, because they had to win back the advantage of three goals, which the Ugra team earned in the first match of the semi-final. Host protection coped with the onslaught. It is worth noting the game Zviad Kupatadze, which unmistakably acted on the last line of defense, “Gazprom-Ugra”. In the first half, the audience in Yugorsk did not see any goals.
The second half began with mutual attacks. Gazprom-Ugra managed to get ahead – Juan Emilio managed to escape one-on-one and hit the KPRF gate on the second attempt. At the 32nd minute, the rivals exchanged goals – from the side of the hosts scored Vladislav Shayakhmetov, and from the side of the Communist Party – Paulinho. The communists felt the power and rushed forward. The initiative passed to them. At the 37th minute, Arser Bagirov equalized the score, then Artem Niyazov brought the Communist Party ahead 3-2. The attack on the hosts’ goal continued and led to the result: Yanar Asadov and Arser Bagirov managed to score the much needed goals for the communists 5-2! These numbers meant that the whole struggle would continue in extra time. Vladislav Shayakhmetov in the 62nd minute of the match managed to score a goal, which led his team to the Russian Cup final.
