On January 24th at the hotel “Aquarium” the futsal association and and the university “Synergy” held a joint workshop for futsal club managers in the framework of the project “Futsal Academy”.

This workshop was designed for directors and top managers of Russian futsal clubs and consisted of an extensive training course, which included main aspects of a successful club management and study of most effective tools for its modernization.

The following guests gave lectures: Vice Rector of the univercity “Synergy”, supervisor of the Faculty of Sport Management, Professor Vladimir Lednev, his speech was devoted to investment development of the futsal industry, after Valery Gorelikov, director of the Center for Sport Management and teacher at “Synergy”, shared his valuable experience and the latest trends in the field of work with sponsors and fundraising. They also touched upon the topic of working with supporters. A report on this issue was presented by the executive director of the FC “Locomotive”, teacher at “Synergy” Aleksey Kirichek. The main focus of the report was made on practical experience in this area based on the example of one of the biggest football clubs in the country.

Our executive Director, Valeriy Linnikov, shared his impressions about the workshop:
– In fact, everything was new for me at this workshop. I’ve been working as a director of a futsal club for a very little time, that’s why all the information was very interesting and useful for my work. We will try to apply this knowledge in the framework of the project “Futsal Academy” in practice. Of course, we are still at the beginning of the path in this respect and a lot of work is to be done yet, but we must do it.
