On August 8, the Russian students’ futsal team began preparations for the 16thWorld Students’ Championship, which will take place from August 19 to 26 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The training camp will be held at the hotel “Aquarium” in Krasnogorsk until August 17.
Also, another player of the the FC Gazprom-UGRA, Aleksandr Raykhel, has been summoned, but due to an injury he is forced to miss the competition.
The Russian team is leaving to Kazakhstan as the current vice-champion of the world.
In total, 16 men’s teams will take part in the XVI World Championship among students.
According to the results of the draw, the Russian men’s team will perform in the Group A together with France, Argentina and Slovakia.
