The FC “Gazprom-UGRA” starts to defend our title of the best European team with a confident victory over German “Hamburg” in the first match of the Elite round of the UEFA Cup.

As soon as on the 1st minute Andrey Afanasiev assisted Danil Davidov who scored our first goal. A little later, Eder Lima doubled team’s result. The score after the first half was 2-0.
Starting 10 minutes of the second half finally dispelled the hopes of the German team. Aleksandr Pirogov assisted twice, helping Eder Lima score his second goal and Rishat Kotlyarov his first one, that set the final result of the match.

Our next opponent is Azerbaijani “Araz”, November 24th, at 20:00 (Moscow time).

Let us remind you that today another game was played between “Nacional” and “Araz”. The Croatian team won with the score of 2-1. All the goals were scored after 35 minutes of the match.
