The Russian team at a tournament in Finland, having turned the course of a hard-going match against the Czech Republic, was close to victory, but missed in the last seconds, 5-5.

The fight with the Czechs, based on the overall rating of the participants of the tournament, was largely decisive in the fight for first place – before it began, Neumann’s wards were at the head of the table, knocking 9 unanswered heads to the Danes on the eve. The goal difference and brought them into the lead.

The first half of the confrontation with Russia contained a huge number of events: six goals, yellow and red cards, exceeding the fouls limit. Most of these events were not in favor of our team, which was forced to catch up with the opponent all the time.

In the 3rd minute after the standard Slováček scored beautifully, ours responded with a transfer from the corner to Kudziyev, followed by a long-range accurate strike. Barely crossed the equator half, as Seidler sped away on the flank and at the second attempt beat Zamtaradze. The Czechs could double the advantage, but the same Seidler did not realize the ten-meter.

In the end of the half, Andrey Ponkratov completed the slalom pass of Niyazov, and was soon removed from the site for a second yellow card. The Czechs could not realize the majority for a long time, but just before the completion of the penalty time, the Thrush still put his foot in the right direction. Literally in the next attack, the Russians won back – a double was designed by Kudziyev, strongly knocking the ball into the net from an average distance.
After the break, the rivals continued to act on equal terms, but the Czechs were now forced to catch up. It cost Yanan Asadov to close the transfer from the corner, as ours immediately missed Koudelka, and he outplayed Krieger in a full-time duel.

At the 29th minute, Sergey Orlov scored the first goal for the national team – he punished the opponent for losing at his own goal. Score 5-4 lasted almost to the siren, although he could change in both directions. But the Russian players did not take advantage of a number of good chances, and the opponent went to the end and with the help of the fifth field player in the last seconds saved the result – 5: 5.

In the final round of October 28, the Czech Republic will play with the hosts of the tournament, and Russia for the first time in history will face off against Denmark.
