Exactly in a week starts the elite round of the UEFA Futsal Cup, in which the current winner “Gazprom-UGRA” is defending our title in Croatia.
Facts about the elite round:
1. The matches will take place from November 22nd until 27th, in 4 countries: Kazakhstan, Croatia, Portugal and Slovenia.
2. Group B: “Gazprom-UGRA” in the last season debuted in the tournament and won gold. Opponents of the Russian club are “Nacional”, “Araz”, that once reached the semi-finals, and “Hamburg Panthers”, first German participant in the elite round.
3. Two debutants in the Group A: “Real Rieti” (Italy) and “Feniks” (Kosovo), the first representative of Kosovo involved in the UEFA Futsal Cup.
4. Group C: “Inter” that wants to win the tournament for a record fourth time. Czech “Chrudim” for the tenth time in a row has overcome the barrier of the main round, and “Ekonomac” that also have a lot of experience, but “Brezje” is another debutant.
5. The group winners go to the final stage, which will take place the last weekend of April next year at home of one of its participants.
