Russian national team is to play two friendly matches against Portugal in preparation for the European Championship of 2018.
The matches will be held on September 25th and 26th in the sports complex “Podmoskovie” (Shchelkovo, Moscow Region, Krasnoznamenskaya str. 24). The preliminary time is 19:15 (first game) and 18:45 (second game). Time can be changed in case of organizing a live TV broadcast.
The Russian national team is the silver medalist of the 2016 World Cup. Portugal became the fourth. In the official UEFA ranking, Russia occupies the first line, Portugal goes the third.
Both teams successfully qualified for the main event of the season 2017/18 – the February European Championships in Ljubljana (Slovenia). Traditionally, Russia and Portugal are among the main favorites of the continental championship.
