– About the match it’s difficult to say something, not clear feelings. You know this could be your captain’s last game. The team did not quite understand what it is. Therefore, the first half we did not play a little, and in the second we already put everything in place and managed to win. We knew that we must solve the problem today, and it happened.
Evgeniy Kuksevich, “Sibiryak” head coach:
– It was noticeable that both teams are already a little weakened, so to speak, that physical forces are running out and moral too. Nevertheless, I saw that our team is charged and is not going to give up, it played to the last. Probably, in the second half of these physical and moral forces we did not have enough to bring the game to our victory. I am grateful to the guys that they fought in such a difficult situation until the end, they clung to the last chance, and everything was in our hands. It remains only to congratulate the opponent. They were more strong-willed and courageous and more wanted victory. I congratulate “Gazprom-UGRA” on the medals, on this award, deservedly.
