Ivan Chishkala told us how difficult was the first match against Thailand and suggested that today the Egyptian team would put up equally stubborn resistance.

– What did you feel winning over Thailand? This is the first match of the World Cup in your career.
– Mixed feelings. There were both positive and negative moments. Somewhere I lacked confidence in my legs. It was quite difficult, so my performance wasn’t good enough. In general, I think that I played average.

– Did your rich experience, including UEFA Cup, help you here?
– I didn’t really feel worried before the match. Probably, that was because of the experience.

– What do you expect from the game against Egypt?
– Tough game. We watched how they beat the national team of Cuba. The Africans got some real skills. There are perfomers, there are players who can beat you individually, there is a team game. Mutual understanding at a high level. Therefore, today it’s not going to be easy.
