International charity children’s festival “Angels of the Nature” took place in the city of Sochi since March 29th until April 12th and FC “Gazprom-UGRA” took part in it.
The aims of this festival are environmental problems and socialization of children with disabilities. The number of participants counted with more than 1,000 children, for which event’s managers organized master classes, ecology lessons and cinema camp.
Known around the world an Australian Christian preacher, writer and public figure, born with Tetra-amelia syndrome, Nick Vujicic became the first goodwill ambassador of the charity movement.
FC “Gazprom-Ugra” did not remained indifferent to this event and joined the project, the head coach, Kaka, had the honor to represent the team. On behalf of the club he gave a certificate for a free wheelchair to a 24-year-old active and persistent Alexander Solomennik from a Stavropol care facility, born with the same pathology as Nick Vujicic.
