The award in the Fair play nomination is awarded to the teams that became the most disciplined at the end of the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina.
The youth team of Russia, which won silver medals at the Youth Olympic Games of 2018 in Argentina, was awarded a special prize of the International Football Federation (FIFA) “For fair play” (Fair play). The awards were presented to the players by the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Pavel Kolobkov.
The award ceremony took place after the final games in the framework of the 14th season of the project “Mini-football to school” in Shchelkovo near Moscow. It is symbolic that two players of the team – Danil Samusenko and Ilya Fedorov – are the “students” of the project and started their sports career with a school project.
Recall that the vice-champion of the Youth Olympic Games in the national team was a graduate of Gazprom-Ugra, Igor Chernyavsky.
